Fallout New Vegas Transparent Textures

ENB transparency/ missing textures I have been having issues getting an ENB to work with fallout New Vegas. I have tried ENHANCED SHADERS - ENB 263, Blackout ENB, and Dynamo ENB. After installing each results in the same issue show in this album imgur.com. If anyone could point me towards a possible solution that would be great.

Fallout New Vegas/Data/meshes/armor/(folder that contains the mods meshes)Fallout New Vegas/Data/textures/armor/(folder that contains the mods textures)The issue with the steam version is that all the default textures and meshes are packed into.bsa files only, meaning you can't see the individual dir. Trees/files.so if you want the GECK be able to 'see' all those things, you have to use a utility to unpack the.bsa's and copy the gazillions of folders/files into the game Data folder. However if all you want is to install a mod, you do not need to unpack the.bsa's, nor do you need to create the entire texture/mesh directory trees.just the ones that the mod uses.Hope that helps/isn't too confusing.Posts: 3554 Joined: Sun Jun 10, 2007 5:55 am. The install doesn't seem to make the folder it's supposed to in Steam/steamapp/common.One person told me I had to make it myself, that didn't work, another person told me that the first person was wrong.

So, now, I don't know what to do.You don't want to have a texture folder in the common folder. The actual path is: Program FilesSteamsteamappscommonfallout new vegasDataIt's inside the Data folder you need to make a Textures folder if there isn't one already.Posts: 3473 Joined: Wed Oct 25, 2006 10:51 pm. Do you have Fallout 3 loaded also? The textures really should work unless they're in that path I gave you:Program FilesSteamsteamappscommonfallout new vegasDataIf you are using 'extract' to the Data folder, sometimes a mod will make a new folder inside the Data folder, so you need to look inside your Data folder and see if you see a new folder named 'Data' or see if there is a folder with the name of the mod. If you see that, you need to go inside that folder, cut the contents, paste them in the actual Data folder then delete the 'dummy' folder.

I never use 'extract', I just slide the nod fron the downloaded.rar, zip or.7z file into the right folder, usually the Data folder but always read the directions. IF it is just a texture or mesh mod, there won't always be an.esp to tick off in the box. If there is a.esp or.esm file included in the mod you need to start the launcher, go to Data Files and you'll see unchecked boxes, make sure to check them, THEN go into the game. Also, with textures you are often asked to use the archive invalidation, personally I just use the mod manager but there is a stand alone archive invalidation you can use also. Always read the readmes of any mod to make sure you understand what you're downloading and putting into your game.Posts: 3332 Joined: Mon Nov 27, 2006 10:37 am.
